A Lawyer That Listens

“After an accident that took my husband’s life, I was introduced to Mr. James Spagnuolo. He is hard working, personable, understanding, and keeps you informed of what is happening with your case. He won my case, represented me with the Magistrate and told me I could call him anytime. He is true to his word. James has since represented me and again won my case. If you want a Lawyer that listens, is heartfelt, works very hard and treats you with concern and understanding, Hire James. I continue to recommend James and know that when I need help I can turn to him, trust him and know the firm is there for me.” — Charlene B

I Knew Everything Was Going to Be Alright

“On July 30, 2015, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. It was a nice day, on my way home from work. The accident was caused by negligence from another driver. I am young, so at this point, I was unsure of what to do. As soon as I arrived to the hospital, I saw my wife and my father in law. I asked immediately, if I should get a lawyer. In the State of Michigan, we have No Fault Insurance. So, I immediately thought there was nothing I could do. I was going to be stuck with all of these medical bills and my body all mangled up. Was this my fault? No, it was not my fault. What did I do to deserve this? At this time, I was married with a 3 month old son at home. My wife and I were normal citizens that go to work to pay our bills but still struggle the normal day life with money. Who doesn’t these days?

A family friend messaged my wife while I was in the hospital the next day. She referred us to Jim Spagnuolo. My wife called Jim and he came out to visit us that night. Jim works in the Roseville, Ml area. I was at U of M Medical Hospital in Ann Arbor. I know it is only 30 to 45 minutes of a drive, but Jim would have drove further. After meeting with Jim, I knew everything was going to be alright. Jim immediately went to work. He was trying to avoid the lawsuit for the medical bills, but unfortunately, had to file two lawsuits. A first party claim for all of my medical bills and a third party claim for the pain and suffering.

To give you an idea of what happened to me, I had a broken left femur, large laceration in my right thigh, lots of road rash, and one of my lungs collapsed, but was able to get it back to normal. During my recovery, I had to switch doctors due to potential malpractice. Today, I am still being treated by a spinal doctor. We have discovered 3 bulging discs, one in the neck and 2 in the back. I have had a total of 6 surgeries on my leg since the accident. Today, March 4, 2017, as I write this letter to let the world know of what kind of person Jim Spagnuolo is, my left femur is still broken. Yes, it has been over a year and half, and we are still attempting procedures to heal my leg.

After a long battle, Jim was able to settle both of my claims. My medical bills will be paid for the rest of my life as long as the State of Michigan Law does not change. Lastly, Jim was able to push for a substantial amount for pain and suffering. This amount of money has made me able to build a new life for my family and ensure my family is set for a long time.

On the day of my accident, my life was turned upside down. I did not know what I was going to do. Jim Spagnuolo helped save my life! I will never live a normal life without pain, but Jim made it easier to live a life happy. Jim never gave up on us. He pushed and pushed until it was over. He still has contact with me today. This is the man that I would recommend for everyone in my situation.” – Kyle S.
