I Knew Everything Was Going to Be Alright
“On July 30, 2015, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. It was a nice day, on my way home from work. The accident was caused by negligence from another driver. I am young, so at this point, I was unsure of what to do. As soon as I arrived to the hospital, I saw my wife and my father in law. I asked immediately, if I should get a lawyer. In the State of Michigan, we have No Fault Insurance. So, I immediately thought there was nothing I could do. I was going to be stuck with all of these medical bills and my body all mangled up. Was this my fault? No, it was not my fault. What did I do to deserve this? At this time, I was married with a 3 month old son at home. During my recovery, I had to switch doctors due to potential malpractice. Today, I am still being treated by a spinal doctor. We have discovered 3 bulging discs, one in the neck and 2 in the back. I have had a total of 6 surgeries on my leg since the accident. Today, March 4, 2017, as I write this letter to let the world know of what kind of person Jim Spagnuolo is, my left femur is still broken. Yes, it has been over a year and half, and we are still attempting procedures to heal my leg.
After a long battle, Jim was able to settle both of my claims. My medical bills will be paid for the rest of my life as long as the State of Michigan Law does not change. Lastly, Jim was able to push for a substantial amount for pain and suffering. This amount of money has made me able to build a new life for my family and ensure my family is set for a long time.
